C shell house reduced to honeycomb platform and light roof glass only walls…
A C-shell has 3 walls (frequently double wall in light honeycomb structure ) in form of a C what leaves a front open without structural stress so it can be used for a big glassfront. This concpet is obviously for the most protected bays and marinas only.
So this kind of structure as pictured below is our first candidate for the Cartagena Marine Cluster. It is a “easy sell concept” and economic to build designed to compete successfully and without a lot of questioning in the real estate market of the neighboring shore city. Its drawback - it is limited to really calm lagoons or you get this kind of movement…i call this kind of floating house a C-shell due to its construction principle .
light shell home lagoon
cube style mini event platform
bait barge low cost marine business
glass maximized C-shell
simple C-shell
c-shell cluster assembly
C-shells and similar concepts are only suitable for floating in a marina in a completly protected bay - something like this - so they are not ocean colonization concepts
