at the beginning Marinea will operate like a blend between a floating marina and prelude it will be anchored on a turret mooring and face wind and waves with a bow equal and better than a big ship. Like Prelude it will be capable to deal with a category 5 cyclon.
It will be built from light material in honeycomb structure what gives it a equal or better “unsinkability” than a surfboard. ( you can break it in pieces but you can NOT sink it. It works like a giant foamblock.
